Why volunteer?
Set up/Take Down
Help prepare venues before the Games begin and assist with dismantling after events conclude. Tasks include setting up equipment, arranging seating, and restoring venues to their original state.
Security
Support our security team in maintaining a safe environment for all participants and spectators. Duties may include access control, crowd management, and general supervision of designated areas.
Signage
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and removal of directional and information signage throughout all venues, ensuring participants and spectators can easily navigate the Games.
Transportation
Coordinate and support transportation services for athletes, officials, and VIPs between venues, accommodations, and events. Help ensure smooth logistics for all Games participants.
Environment
Support our commitment to sustainability by managing waste, recycling efforts, and environmental initiatives. Help keep all venues and surroundings clean throughout the Games.
Volunteer Categories
Athlete Registration
Welcome athletes and teams, verify registration information, distribute welcome packages, and provide essential Games information to participants as they arrive.
Athlete's Village/Accommodation
Support operations in athletes' housing areas, assist with check-in/out procedures, and help create a comfortable and welcoming environment for visiting athletes.
First Aid/Medical
Work alongside healthcare professionals to provide basic first aid support, health information, and assistance at medical stations throughout the Games venues.
Food Services
Support food distribution operations, assist with meal service for athletes and volunteers, and help ensure dietary requirements are met with respect for cultural considerations.
Sport Venues
Provide operational support at specific competition sites, assist sport coordinators with equipment setup, and help ensure competitions run smoothly and on schedule.
Info Booth
Serve as the friendly face of the Games by staffing information centers, answering questions, providing directions, and helping visitors maximize their Games experience.
VIP Area
Assist in hosting dignitaries, sponsors, and special guests, ensuring they have access to appropriate areas and receive proper recognition throughout their Games experience.
Elder Services
Provide respectful assistance to Elders attending the Games, including mobility support, seating arrangements, and ensuring their specific needs are accommodated with dignity.
Merchandise
Help operate merchandise sales locations, assist customers, manage inventory, and promote official Games souvenirs and apparel to create lasting memories for attendees.
Cultural Services
Support traditional and contemporary Indigenous cultural activities, assist Knowledge Keepers, and help showcase the rich heritage celebrated throughout the Games.
Opening Ceremonies
Be part of the excitement as the Games begin! Assist with participant organization, audience seating, program distribution, and other tasks to create a memorable opening celebration.
Closing Ceremonies
Help conclude the Games with pride by supporting the final ceremonial events, assisting with participant coordination, and celebrating the achievements of all athletes.
Medal Presentation
Play a role in recognizing athletic excellence by assisting with medal ceremony preparations, athlete coordination, and the dignified presentation of awards.
Entertainment
Support performers, assist with setup for cultural showcases, and help coordinate entertainment activities scheduled throughout the Games to enhance the overall experience.
